Fun Worm Recipes
Dirt ‘n Worms
Take the Oreo’s and put them in a zip lock bag. Pound on them until they are thoroughly crushed (and looking like soil/dirt). Set aside.
In large bowl, beat together butter and cream cheese. Add the pudding mix. Gradually mix in milk…. And then very carefully (because it gets rather full) add the Cool Whip. Take the flower pot and alternate between the pudding mixture and Oreo’s… starting with the Oreo’s ….. Layering Oreo’s, pudding, Oreo’s, pudding, Oreo’s, pudding, etc…. with Oreo’s on top for the soil. If you like, you can stick the worms in the layers for fun. Once your pot is full, stick the flowers in. Store in refrigerator.

Worm Cookies
|
1 (18 ounce) package refrigerated chocolate cookie dough |
Take the dough and roll it into 24 balls (1 1/2- inch balls). Cut the balls each in half. Take a spoon and while holding the halves, press the spoon into the inside. Do this to all of the halves. Divide the halves into 2 sets of 12 (or as much dough as you have on hand). On one half, press a worm into the indentation. Take the rest of the halves and press them onto the wormed ones so they are once again balls. Smooth edges. Bake as called for in the recipe. Serve and pretend they are regular cookies.
Worm Cake
1 Chocolate cake mix
Chocolate frosting
2 packages gummy worms
1 pacakage Oreo cookies
Make a chocolate cake according to the package or recipe instructions. You may
use purchased chocolate frosting or make your own. Spread it on the cake as
thickly as possible. Crush 1/2 package of Oreo cookies with a fork or rolling
pin. (It will look just like packaged potting soil. Play with it until you get
just the desired effect. ) Sprinkle on frosted cake and garnish with the gummy
worms. Make some of the worms look like they are crawling out of the cake. Then
sprinkle the top liberally with the crushed cookies. It looks disgusting (kids
love it) but it is delicious!!
