Internet experiments provide a hands-on resource for developing any science curriculum. Teachers can use experiments to prepare daily lessons; to enable concept(s) within a unit; to reinforce and or explain ideas; and also as a form of assessment.  There are lots of possibilities! 

Genetic Science Learning Center <gslc.genetics.utah.edu/> lists many experiments and information in genetics. It is very easy to read and is subdivided into categories.

Chemistry Experiments <www.thinkquest.org/library/lib/site_sum_outside.html?tname=2690&url=2690/exper/exper.htm> lists many easy to read and easy to comprehend experiments. Step-by-step instructions are by a discussion.

Wonder Science activities <www.acs.org/wondernet> are easy-to-do and require easy-to-find, inexpensive materials found in the home. The site is excellent for elementary children as it is very eye appealing and the children will like the characters.

The Edible/Inedible Experiments archive <www.madsci.org/experiments> lists the experiments by grade level and whether or not they are edible or not edible.

Mad Scientist’s Lab <www.spartechsoftware.com/reeko/> offers fun science experiments by category and difficulty level. It also lists many games, quizzes, book reviews, and a glossary.

Sodaplay <www.sodaplay.com> allows you to build and play with your own creations online or work with the models they have created.

Home Experiements <scifun.chem.wisc.edu/HOMEEXPTS/HOMEEXPTS.html> provide a collection of experiments that you can do with each instruction.  

GPUKids <www.gpukids.com/> features energy-related games, activities, experiments, downloadable teaching modules and lesson plans on a variety of energy, electrical safety, energy conservation and environment-related topics.

GLOBE <www.globe.gov/fsl/html/aboutglobe.cgi?intro&lang=en&nav=1> is a worldwide hands-on, primary and secondary school-based science and education program.

Thinking Fountain <www.smm.org/sln/> provides the experiments to grow your mold.
