Amy Grahmann

My name is Amy Grahmann and am an Early Childhood major in the College of Education at Texas Tech.  I will graduate in December of 2003 and plan on moving to teach in Dallas.  I also plan on going into Pharmacy in a couple of years.  I love to learn about science and am facinated with the world of medicine.  I have only pet fish for now but hope to have a dog in the next year, a miniture schnauzer or great dane. Outside of school, I work at a cancer center to earn money to pay the bills.  When I am not student teaching or working, I like to go swimming and visit my family and my boyfriend.  I also like to volunteer in programs that benefit cancer funding such as Race for the Cure and Relay fo Life and also help with Habitat for Humanity when possible.  I think that the NSTA is one of the most beneficial organizations for teachers or future teachers to be involved in and am looking forward to a successful year and many more to come!!
