Dr. Ridley's HomepageCourses taught by Dr Ridley Geosciences CoursesGeoscience Homepage

The course will introduce the basic principles and fundamental concepts of inorganic geochemistry. The course will emphasize the usefulness and application of geochemistry in understanding, predicting and modeling the chemical reactions that occur in many geologic processes. The aim of the course is to provide students with the quantitative tools to solve geologic and environmental problems.

Assigned problem sets are an integral part of the course, these exercises will provide practical and applied experience in working through and solving geochemical problems.
