Field School in Maya Archaeology

Welcome to the homepage for ANTH 4642:260, Texas Tech University’s Field School in Maya Archaeology (FSMA) Study Abroad program. The FSMA recently completed its third successful season of research at the major Maya site of La Milpa, Belize in 2009. The work was part of the La Milpa Core Project, under the direction of Dr. Brett A. Houk of the Department of Sociology, Anthropology, and Social Work at Texas Tech. The 2010 season will be a small research project with space for a few lucky students!
