This course provides an introduction to the discipline of anthropological linguistics, which lies at the intersection of anthropology and linguistics. The materials presented in the beginning of this course will serve to familiarize you with the three components of linguistics:  (1) description and documentation; (2) analysis; and, (3) theory.
